Project Overview

Broome  Relief Web (BRW) The project's purpose to assist in the housing reconstruction efforts of needy individuals and families who were severely effected by the June and November floods of 2006 in South Central New York State, primarily in Broome County.

The emphasis of the BRW effort is to bring together highly skilled construction workers, qualified local and non-local volunteers, and construction materials - all coordinated by premier project managers and strong Information Technologies. 

BRW is a member of the New York State Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NYS-VOAD)

 

 

 

 

What's  New

    BRW has finished its' work in response to the floods of 2006 and is now working with the newly established BC VOAD (Broome County Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster).  Working together, we hope to be better prepared, should another difficult situation arise.

  •  BRW offers the best Internet based volunteer support services in the area.
  •  We link up professional and qualified amateur volunteer construction workers.
