Debra Morello
Debbie holds a Bachelor of Arts in
Liberal Arts and a Master of Business Administration from Binghamton
University. She serves as Dean of Continuing
Education for Broome Community College. In this capacity she manages
the function responsible for post-associate degree programming,
entrepreneurship, corporate training, youth programming, and non-credit
courses. She is an adjunct professor for the
Master of Public Administration Program at Binghamton University and a
faculty member for the University of Phoenix Online where she teaches
courses in Organizational Behavior and Strategic Management. Debra also serves as an independent
consultant for strategic planning and grant development, a corporate
trainer for grant writing and creativity courses, and a grant reviewer
for the Department of Education. She is on the Board of Directors of the
Southern Tier Opportunity Coalition and is actively involved in economic
development in the Southern Tier of New York.

Alison McGill
Alison
graduated Summa Cum Loude from LeMoyne in May 1991. She has over
20 years of experience which includes Certified Public Accounting in the
areas of wholesale, retail, manufacturing and not-for-profit.
Alison has served as chair finance committee at St. Ann's in Binghamton
for 4 years and currently teaches Sunday School at Our Lady of Angels in
Endwell, NY.
Her volunteer work for BRW is focused on
rendering and implementing a set of accounting procedures for our
organization.

Eugene W. Gorman Jr.
Gene is a Binghamton native,
attended Chenango Valley Schools, and obtained the Eagle Scout rank
before graduating in 1982. He volunteered from 1978 to 1986 on the
Chenango Volunteer Ambulance Squad as a New York State Certified EMT.
He attended Broome Community College for Business Administration from
1987 to 1989 and was awarded his Master Electrician License in 1990 for City
of Binghamton, Village of Johnson City, and Village of Endicott.
Together with his wife Karen and their four children, he lives in Port
Crane, NY. He teaches the 2nd grade in the Religious
Education program at St. Joseph’s in Sanitaria Springs and continues his
long-time involvement with scouting as an active committee member of
both Pack and Troop 155. He and Karen operate the E.W. Gorman
Electrical Contracting, Inc., which serves the Southern Tier of New York
and Northern Pennsylvania and does all phases of residential,
commercial, and industrial work, from design, to build, to service. Gene
actively volunteered in the ‘muckout” phase of the 2006 flood recovery.
As co-founder of Broome Relief Web, he took the lead in researching and
choosing the enterprise level business software now used by the BAND
coalition, through its' agreement with BRW.

Gerard L. Frappier,
Jerry brings comprehensive
engineering and communications expertise to our organization. He has
over thirty years of experience working for companies such as AT&T,
Tri-Cities Communications, and Venture Communications prior to
establishing his own company, Telestar Communications. He retired from
Telestar in 1999. A talented entrepreneur and project manager, he has
been involved with:

implementing the first ATM system in the Southern Tier
*
upgrading traditional offices to digital systems, and
*
wiring college campuses throughout New York State with
state-of-the-art technology. Jerry
served in the United States Air Force, and he is a graduate of Empire
State College, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree. He
is active with the Red Cross, volunteering both locally and on the
teaching staff of the Red Cross-Austin, Texas, where he teaches
satellite and programming skills to other volunteers. In addition
to the recovery work related to the Broome County flooding, Jerry has been
involved with recoveries from hurricanes Ivan, Katrina, Wilma, Charlie and Rita.

Lorenz J. Firsching
Lorenz is Professor
of History and chair of the History, Philosophy, and Social Sciences
Department at Broome Community College. He received his AA degree from
BCC and his BA, MA, and Ph. D degrees from Binghamton University. Dr.
Firsching has received a fellowship from the National Endowment for the
Humanities and a Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching from the
State University of New York. A life-long resident of Broome county, he
has been a member of a number of area groups, including Broome County
Peace Action, the Community Advisory Board of WSKG, and the Social
Concerns Committee of St. Joseph's Church in Sanitaria Springs. He
is contributing to the BRW project in the area of public relations.

Patrick Dundon
Pat
is a Broome County native who attended SV schools and SUNY Maritime. He
worked on tugboats based out of New York for about 9 years before buying
“The Insulation Man” business in 1989. “The Insulation Man” provides
building science solutions to address common comfort, durability and
efficiency problems. Over the past 17 years Patrick has grown the
Company from one with limited market presence to a thriving business
which employs 10 people and serves an area about 80 miles in radius from
Binghamton. He is advising BRW in the area of material acquisition and
usage.

Patrick Doyle
Patrick hails from Colesville, New
York. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Associates
Degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science. Patrick has
been involved with computers in many capacities since 1994 and is
employed by Binghamton University, where he is responsible for
maintaining nearly 500 machines in both the public computing areas
(Pods) and multi-media rooms. A parishioner of St. Joseph’s Roman
Catholic Church in Sanitaria Springs, NY, he has served on the Church’s
Parish Council. Patrick leads the Information Technology
department at Canto Grande - managing a six station LAN.

Christopher Dailey
Christopher arrived in
the U.S. in 1997 after living in Chile, South America. He has a degree
in business management (marketing and food management.) Prior to
starting his own business now called CleanMaster New York, Chris
acquired specialized training in restoration work related to fire and
water damage from the IICRC Institute located in Canandaigua, N.Y. He
has further sharpened his skills by attending courses in flood
restoration (Tennessee) and mold remediation & mitigation
(Pennsylvania). His business has been voted in twice for the Readers
Choice Award (2003 and 2005) and has been involved in over 800 water,
mold and fire damaged clean-ups. He brings this knowledge and experience
to our volunteer relief effort.

Scott Colton
Scott has worked as a carpenter for
24 years. He possesses a variety of carpentry skills including framing,
concrete work, finish carpentry, and all different phases in the field.
For the past decade, Scott has served as the President and Business
Representative of Empire State Carpenters Local 281 Union. He has also
served as a past Board member of the Building and Construction Trades
Council of the AFL-CIO. Scott Colton lives in Harpursville, NY with his
wife Donna and daughter. Scott is serving as a primary contact for
developing the volunteer ranks of Broome Relief Web.

Kevin Bunger Fr. Kevin was
ordained for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syracuse in 1983 and has
served in East Syracuse, NY; Lima, Peru; and since 1991 in Broome
County. With a group of volunteers from St. Joseph's parish in Sanitaria
Springs, that included: Paul Weckel, Andy Gronski, John Adams and Gene
Gorman, he worked in the 'mudout' phase after the June flood. Together with Gene Gorman and Jerry Frappier, he founded Broome Relief
Web in October of 2006.
